Description

Pingwind/Exeter is looking for a Configuration Management Analyst to work with the team to assess and improve data standardization and collection processes to prepare standard and ad hoc reports to assist senior management with decision making. You must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge in establishing and maintaining the consistency of information regarding the data requirements, functional and physical attributes, and operational information of enterprise configuration items (CIs). A successful hire must possess excellent interpersonal, business management, and customer service skills and your work enables government personnel to support their mission from the tip of the spear. Work performed under this Task Order directly provides USSOUTHCOM a defensible, secure, modern, and efficient IT infrastructure across all combatant command constructed networks and enables the government customer to conduct business in defense of U.S. policies and directives in the Caribbean, Central and South American area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or personal initiative with an eye for driving performance and investigating and communicating findings to stakeholders

Define and document CI metrics throughout their lifecycle

Gather critical information from multiple stakeholders to specify and validate business reporting or data extracts using data mapping and data quality techniques

Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions using data analysis and data profiling.

Establish and implement CM compliance standards

Evaluate contracts and develop associated configuration management approaches

Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

Develop and implement overarching CM procedures and establishing responsibilities, authorities, and plan approval levels

Analyze data and research issues through use of SQL and other query tools

Requirements

Active Secret clearance

0-2 years experience

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

Prior experience supporting SOUTCOM/ US Military

ITIL Foundation/Certification

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL preferred
