Suggest appropriate, cost-effective therapeutic alternatives to medical staff as needed.Publish pharmacy newsletters and liaisons with Medical Staff Office and Marketing to develop physician communications/education.Contribute to the quality and effective operation of the department.Review the performance and documentation of clinical activities of pharmacists, including ongoing clinical initiatives as defined by the Director of Pharmacy.Support the improvement and accomplishment of corporate, division, and facility objectives through interdepartmental teamwork and planning.Develop, manage and mentor antimicrobial management program (AMP)Responsible for design, analysis and reporting of adverse drug reactions, medication errors and pharmacy quality initiatives. Mentor others in their roles for these programsSupport participation in daily multidisciplinary and bedside rounds.
