SPA is seeking a Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Subject Matter Expert.
Responsibilities
In this role, this Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Subject Matter Expert will devise and run studies that incorporate modeling, simulation, and analysis of NC3 and related platforms, systems, and architectures, supported by a team of operational and policy analysts and modelers. The Subject Matter Expert also serves as the main point of contact to the government customer and leadership (GO/FO/SES level) as well as study partners. Finally, the Subject Matter Expert will explore with the government areas in which to grow SPA's support to provide high impact advice, insight, and analytical findings to support major decisions. In addition, the successful candidate will:
* Lead and mentor cross-organizational teams of analysts and modelers, developing and navigating complex studies that leverage multiple tools and datasets from many sources across all classification levels.
* Ensure that the findings of these studies are translated into meaningful, actionable insights for senior DoD leadership, and lead the effective communication of those insights.
* Advise the government on developing, adapting, managing, and executing cross-organizational studies.
* Conduct business development, seeking areas where SPA can potentially provide high value impact to the government in NC3 and related areas.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* MS in a STEM, ORSA, or related fiel
* 15+ years of experience in NC3 and related areas
* 10+ years of experience leading small to medium sized teams/organizations
* 20+ years of experience supporting or working within the Department of Defense
* Active TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to maintain this throughout employment
