Customer Service Representative role at Signature requires providing excellent service to visitors and coworkers in a professional and friendly manner. Signature's Customer Service Representatives are responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to the overall success of the fixed base operation (FBO). They focus on consistently providing excellent customer service and serve as the face of Signature while interacting with visitors and coworkers. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring concierge and other services are promptly and correctly handled, provided and billed in accordance with Signature's procedures. Providing a friendly welcome to Signature and collaborating with all coworkers, customers and other visitors to ensure customer service needs are met. Increasing customer satisfaction by understanding and promptly addressing customers' needs, which may include identifying and offering additional Signature services. Accurately receiving, dispatching and processing customer purchases and fuel transactions in accordance with company procedures. Replenishing complementary beverages/supplies, enforcing good cleanliness practices and providing visitors with a wide array of concierge services. Assisting pilots with access to airport and weather information, assisting visitors with their luggage and marshaling aircraft. Abiding by emergency response procedures and recommending improvements to Signature's standards, administrative procedures, facilities, methods, and practices. Requirements include: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum of 18 years of age A valid state license is required where applicable A professional appearance Ability to pass background checks, drug tests and receive an airport security badge Legally authorized to work in the country of employment Ability to successfully complete Signature's training programs Strong verbal and written English communication skills Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions Preferred qualifications include: Three to six months experience and/or training in aviation, FBO, hospitality, customer service or another related field Knowledge of radio procedures and protocols Essential job functions include: Performing tasks in varying weather and environmental conditions Working near stationary and moving aircraft Regular and reliable attendance for shifts which may include nights, weekends and/or holidays Ability to read, understand and comply with all company policies, safety and ethical procedures Clearly communicating in English with others in person, via telephone, radio communicators and in writing Operating a multi-line telephone and using the company-approved greeting Driving cars, vans or other shuttles in some locations
