We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist Our client in Houston, Texas is seeking an AP Specialist on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:
•Printing subcontractor invoices from Billing email
•Processing subcontractor invoices
•Processing payments to subcontractors
•Maintaining notices/liens regarding payments to subcontractors
•Answering subcontractors' inquiries via email and telephone
•Reconciling subcontractor monthly statements
•Maintaining contracts, change orders, and joint check agreements
•Reconciling subcontractor invoices to change orders
•Reconciling subcontractor job cost to general ledger accounts
•Assisting with bank reconciliations
•Cross-training with accounts payable and payroll
•Serving in a rotation of answering phones
•Filing subcontractor payments

Requirements:
•Accounts payable experience
