Responsibilities
As a Territory Manager for TPC, you would be responsible for:
Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies in assigned sales region
Actively researching new leads and targeting sales prospects
Engaging sales leads via email, phone, video conferencing, or in person as required
Developing encyclopedic knowledge about TPC’s products, services, and capabilities
Traveling through assigned sales region to develop new business and meet with customers
Quickly resolving conflicts and addressing customer concerns
Leveraging sales and marketing data to identify and implement best practices
Promoting brand awareness within assigned sales region
Monitoring competitor activities within assigned sales region
Education
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
Skills

Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Competence with sales analytics and data
Ability to develop sales strategies and adapt them to market trends
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Strong communication skills across all modes
Expert negotiator and problem-solver

A competitive spirit
Experience
TPC would like to speak with candidates that have the following experience:
Previous background managing a distributed sales territory
Experience with engineered sales solutions
History of effective business development and success within a hunter sales model
Established ability to use sales analysis tools
Prior success developing, implementing, and measuring effectiveness of data-driven business development strategies
General familiarity with packaging solutions and the industries we serve
An established network of contacts at major companies
