The Technical Advisor I is responsible for providing world-class service and support to all internal and external customers via the contact center. This position is part of our Customer Resolution Team located in Loveland, CO and will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • Handle basic incoming technical and customer support questions from internal and external customers providing prompt, accurate answers.
  • Identify and manage customer escalations and utilize cross-functional relationships to negotiate 'win-win' solutions.
  • Provide efficient, technical trouble shooting support on testing systems and Hach chemistry methods.
  • Act as a liaison between Technical Support and all cross-functional departments to relay Voice of Customer, (VOC), and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify sales opportunities, and understanding the industries, vertical markets and products and submitting leads to drive appropriate up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to the customer.
The essential requirements of the job include
  • BA or BS degree preferred.
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • 1+ years' experience in customer service, technical support, field service. Prior call center experience helpful.
  • Experience in one or more of Hach's key markets (drinking water, wastewater, and industrial) preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency
  • Experience Salesforce and/or Oracle (ERP) would be an asset

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $24.00 - $26.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
