Summary: The Senior Accounting Manager is a self-motivated, highly detailed professional that will assist in overseeing the accounting department’s functions to ensure efficiency and compliance. Key Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring data integrity and accuracy Liaison with accounting software and other system vendors and consultants Development of system controls to ensure data integrity Oversees, monitors, and works to improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and database management Assists the Controller in producing accurate and timely financials statements Trains staff on proper company procedures Oversees the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations Provides monthly and ad hoc reporting for Accumark and Benchmark operating companies working closely with NUG FP&A leader and business GM Coordinates the bank and financial audits with the Controller and CFO Coordinates annual income tax return filings with Controller and CFO Assist with other projects as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities:

Assists in supervision of accounting department supervisor and staff, including daily workflow and month end close processes Requirements/Qualifications:

Strong working knowledge of GAAP Possesses strong leadership, supervisory and management abilities Pays close attention to detail Has excellent critical thinking skills as well as ability to be highly analytical Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of management throughout the organization Strong organizational and time management skills Exhibits strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Products

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance CPA or MBA designation desired Minimum four years of public/private accounting preferred Financial analysis experience preferred Two to three years of supervisory experience
