Overview

The Client Director is responsible for identifying, creating, and delivering innovative solution strategies in support of revenue generation for Fortune 500 clients. In this role you will lead a revenue portfolio of $20M+, focus on Business Development, Delivery Excellence, and Consultant Engagement, while driving segments of Daugherty's overall strategy and direction. The Client Director will achieve a 'Trusted Advisor' status through developing and maintaining executive-level relationships with client decision makers to deliver business value.

Responsibilities

Business Development Collaborates with sales and other leaders to support the sales cycle to generate revenue. Organizes sales campaigns and leads pursuit teams in collaboration with Daugherty Solution Teams. Partners with clients to influence strategic technical direction; identifies ways Daugherty can assist them with achieving their business objectives. Demonstrates knowledge of industry Best Practices and business levers for individual clients; understands how to engage Daugherty leadership and Solution Teams to bring value. Promotes recommendations to support client transformation roadmaps. Leads proposal development and proposal pricing strategies. Oversees renewal of existing work in maintaining Daugherty's presence. Delivery Excellence

Establishes clear, strategic direction and priorities, and effectively communicates these objectives to both the client and the Daugherty team. Works closely with our clients' leaders to ensure efficient, effective, high-quality delivery outcomes. Collaborates with client and/or Daugherty Leadership regarding client/team/consultant issues requiring attention; proactively addresses challenges in a direct and professional manne Consultant Engagement

Responsibility of Delivery oversight of 65+ Daugherty consultants. Oversees billing activities to ensure timely collection per SOW terms. Achieves client P&L goals by managing overall investments, expenses, receivables, and issues related to client margin realization. Responsible for providing timely performance feedback to consultant/client leadership/Daugherty leadership. May engage as a billable consultant to accomplish strategic initiatives, lead project segments, and/or architect/prototype solutions. Qualifications

Tenured experience in the IT/Software industry. Seven plus years of experience in professional IT consulting. Experience in positioning and selling business and technology consulting services to a Fortune 500 client base; hands-on, flexible, and willing to learn Daugherty's proprietary method for selling. Demonstrated experience organizing sales campaigns and leading pursuit teams in collaboration with sales to pursue new, billable project opportunities. Experience with creating proposals and pricing strategies. Organized and methodical with strong presentation, prioritization, and negotiation skills. Possesses an elevated level of business acumen and effective executive communication skills, both written and verbal. Collaborates with technical experts to achieve business results. Exhibits the willingness to coach and be coachable. Greets new challenges with curiosity, passion, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
