We are looking for a Program Manager to incorporate to a company which is a specialized embedded security firm with a proven track record of solving the hardest anti-tamper and cyber security problems with novel and scalable solutions.

Location: Boise

Sector: Information Security/Cyber Security/IT Security And Audit

Tasks

As a Program Manager of highly technical engineers, you will be responsible for working with the technical team to develop plans and coordinate executing the plans to achieve innovative deliveries on time and within budget. Your involvement will play a key role in creating a streamlined, organized, and positive experience for our customers and employees. You will report to company leadership and interact and support team members across the organization.

Develop Program Plans:

- In coordination with the project technical lead(s), define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities based on the contract, the proposal and company objectives
- Define resource and technical requirements and manage resource availability & allocation
- Prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, work streams & activities
- Outline a budget based on requirements and track costs to deliver project on budget

Lead Program Execution:

- Managing delivery of the project according to the program plan and the contract
- Track project and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget
Identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Manage the relationship and communication with the customer and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction

Provide input to proposals led by Business Development

Support Business Operations:

- Organization and execution of company activities including project weekly synch meetings, monthly scheduling, and project updates
- Invoice tracking and reconciliation of internal systems, and ensuring accurate billing with internal systems
- Various administrative tasks such as tracking company expenses, subscription management and overseeing asset inventory and general business management

Input to corporate strategy and compliance

Requirements
  1. A Bachelor’s degree in a relavent field.
  2. Ability to obtain a security clearance
  3. More than 5 years of proven project/program management in past performance
  4. Federal Government contracting and compliance experience strongly preferred
  5. Experience working with a range of highly technical engineers and motivate / lead them to achieve their maximum potential on project tasks
  6. Ability to clearly capture complex technical concepts in writing and slides for both technical and general audiences
  7. Must have high attention to detail and have experience interfacing directly with DOD customers
  8. Experience leading a team of technical subject matter experts
  9. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while engaging in multiple tasks at once
  10. Strong listening and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  1. Familiar with the components of a Program Protection Plan and the basic principles of each embedded security discipline (anti-tamper, cybersecurity, supply chain security)
  2. Experience with EVMS systems for government contract management
  3. Experience with software assurance, system integrity, trust strategies, supply chain exploitation methods and countermeasures and/or general vulnerability analysis
  4. Technical Degree in engineering, computer science, physics or related field
  5. PMP certification is desired but not a requirement. Should be at least comfortable with all of the standard PMI processes and practices
  6. Experience managing programs using a range of approaches including traditional waterfall and agile approaches
