**Responsibilities**:The Director of Sector Partnerships will lead and oversee the strategic direction, growth, and performance of industry sector development within the State of Maine. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive industry knowledge and experience to drive market expansion, improve operational efficiency, and enhance overall sector profitability. This position is grant funded through December 31, 2030.

**Minimum Qualifications**:The required minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, engineering, or a related field. 10 years of experience in a senior management role within one or more specific industry sector(s). Proven record of accomplishment of strategic leadership and business development. Deep understanding of industry sectors, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and technological advancements. Master’s degree preferred.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
The required knowledge, skills, and abilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Strategic planning with an ability to forecast possible outcomes and future scenarios.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated through work experience.
