As a CBRF, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting. Your role will involve assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their independence.

**Duties**:

- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment as needed
- Support individuals in maintaining their physical and emotional well-being
- Follow individualized care plans and document observations and interventions accurately
- Promote resident rights, dignity, and respect in all interactions
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of CBRF regulations and standards is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting individual autonomy
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to perform direct support tasks including personal care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Pay: $18.07 - $21.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
