**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Tribeca is seeking a smart, self-driven FESTIVAL RELATIONS & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR for the Festival. The Coordinator is responsible for the organization and support of the programming team, including but not limited to managing the invited projects’ material collection and organization, programming administrative support, and managing the FilmFreeway database. This person will also assist teams with all logístical coordination leading up to and during the festival, including ticketing, travels, events, and screenings.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Represent the Festival as conduit for communication between the Festival and creative teams with projects in the Festival
- Manage FilmFreeway Database maintenance and cleanup for all Shorts submissions
- Notifying all films if they have been selected or declined from the Festival
- Manage film and project materials, including:

- Liaising with the film team and tracking materials as they come
- Liaising with other stakeholders in the company and making sure other departments have the assets they need for press, social media, marketing, web, and publications and that they comply with any restrictions of use
- Working with the legal team to track releases and any restrictions placed on materials sent in
- Assist with proofing materials for the web and print guides
- Collect information from film teams to arrange filmmaker travel for qualifying film teams
- Conduct additional correspondence with film teams on behalf of other internal Festival stakeholders during festival preparations including consulting with Legal and Operations teams to cover additional requests from film teams (i.e. content capture requests, security requests, etc.)

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 2+ years working with filmmakers, or within a festival environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing quick turn-around times and multiple projects with different time horizons at once while handling day-to-day with key clients.
- Proactive self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions and think of creative ways to get the job done.
- Attention to detail and organization with everything from filmmaker travel plans to coordinating event schedules.
- Passionate about the importance of storytelling across a variety of mediums and film festival, as well as bringing unique and unheard voices to the forefront.
- Clear communicator in all forms.
- Event and media experience is a huge plus.
- Ability to work in the U.S.
