The NYFF Ticketing Coordinator supports the Operations and Ticketing department during the New York Film Festival to ensure that the ticketing processes during the festival are executed both accurately and efficiently.

The role is integral to the success of the New York Film Festival through working with the ticketing needs of customers and guests, as well as the ticketing requests of other departments and external teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Works with the Ticketing team to proof the New York Film Festival build in Tessitura;

Assists the Ticketing Services Manager in confirming all ticketing-related procedures with other departments and relevant parties both pre-festival and during the festival;

Under the supervision of the Ticketing Services Manager, processes daily departmental, industry, and special ticketing requests;

Tests ticketing system to make sure tickets and products are correct;

Confirms that customer facing information/language regarding ticketings is correct and clear;

Works with the Press and Industry team to fulfill Press and Industry badges;

Coordinates/Executes Studio and Filmmaker ticketing requests as communicated by the Artist Services Team;

Supervises the ticketing needs and situations for daily screenings and events at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center;

Oversees special ticketing support for the Currents Section of the festival if needed;

Works with Alice Tully Box Office to make sure ticket requests are processed in a timely manner;

Supports box office operations during periods of heavy traffic;

Serves as a valuable resource for box office staff, providing information on ticketing products and special festival procedures as required;

Provides a comprehensive post-festival wrap report as outlined by Operations and Ticketing department.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

1-2 years of customer service experience with a special emphasis on ticketing;

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with Tessitura;

Ability to maintain focus and calm under pressure;

Comfortable working independently in a context where details matter;

Strong communication skills;

Ability to work as part of a team;

Confident giving directions and supervising a small team;

Proactive attitude, energy, stamina, and patience - you are on call throughout the festival;

Familiarity with film festivals is a plus.
