Field Sales Representative, Higher Ed

The Talent Search Group at Partner in Publishing is searching for a **Field Sales Representative, Higher Education, (PA & NJ) **on behalf of our client, a leading publisher for languages and ELL learning products and platforms.

The Field Sales Representative is a key member of the Higher Education team, representing the company's print and digital language education products to new and existing accounts at colleges, universities, and programs in the PA & NJ territory..

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Manage and grow an assigned territory by closing business consistently in order to achieve sales quotas

Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key education professionals

Develop a strong understanding of customer needs

Deliver impactful and engaging digital and live presentations

Partner with sales support team members in order to meet our customers' needs

Ensure utilization of and data accuracy in our CRM and other tools for effective territory analysis, planning and account management

YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor's degree minimum

2-3+ years' experience in a consultative sales, business development or account management role within the education technology (ed-tech), language learning or publishing industry

Strong technology orientation and experience presenting and/or doing demonstrations to a variety of audiences in-person and virtually

Excellent relationship building, prospecting, territory building, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

Experience using a CRM to manage sales activities and accounts

IDEAL IF YOU HAVE or ARE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):
Experience teaching language courses in Higher Education or company product familiarity

Proficiency in Spanish, German, French or Italian

Advanced degree

**Salary**: $65-75K base salary plus sales bonus and car allowance

**Benefits **package includes life/health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), educational assistance, commuter pass subsidies, generous employee referral bonuses, PTO and paid holidays.

**Location**: This role requires residence within one of the two territory states (PA or NJ), ideally in the Philadelphia area, and a willingness to travel throughout the territory without restriction.
