Traveling Sales Representative

**Responsibilities**
- Opening and maintaining new and current accounts in the area assigned: supermarket chains, Independents accounts, wholesalers, etc.
- Monitor and manage out of stocks, damages and credits at the store level, and support large inventories, slow mover items, new items, categories, and soon to expire list
- Participate in the implementation of Planograms and setting up new stores
- Participate in EMD’s Trade Show, Friday’s conference call once a week at 3:30PM and Sales meeting once a month at 8:00AM and other company events
- Work Monday to Friday with some exceptions for Holidays and weekends, advancing route schedule for: Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year
- Follow through on ALL promises to customers and supervisors.
- Foresee any problems and resolve according to company procedures
- Updating and maintaining product book & Store specials, etc.
- Must collect on all accounts outstanding, and bounced checks. Also, keep good record of the accounts receivable,
- Product knowledge and updating price list, and working with bracket prices and deals provided
- Confidentiality with all EMD information and paperwork.
- Placing orders on a timely basis: 3:30pm Monday-Thursday and 10:30am Friday
- Professionalism with coworkers and customers. Sales rep found of being rude and improper will be given two warnings and on third will be suspended for one week without pay
- If EMD finds any negligence on sales representative for any accounts that aren’t collected it will be deducted from sales commission.
- Active participation in: SAMPLING, GRAND OPENING, RESET AND SET UPS
- Handle any discrepancy on DSD (Direct store delivery) documents. Confirm ALL discrepancies and get corrected DSD from store. Any open DSD will be discounted from sales representative’s commission. Recovery of merchandise not on file or copy of invoice to back up missing product will be the responsibility of the sales rep.
- AT&T Workforce Tracking System will be provided

**Qualifications / Skills**
- Valid Driver License in good standing
- Vehicle insurance of $300,000 combined single limit
- Professionalism

- Strong Organizational Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal with all Sales Force
- Strong Attention to detail
- Bilingual preferred

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in the Food & Beverage industry
- Minimum 1 year of Sales experience

**Compensation**:

- **_Hourly Rate_** of **$17.50 plus commission
