- **Analyzes trends in market demand and clinical practices and formulates recommendations to physician and hospital leadership for improvements in patient care, customer service, optimizing revenue and improving efficiency.**:
- **Provides direction for program growth within the cardiovascular service line; explores opportunity for new service offerings.**:
- **Communicates with the Chief Medical Officer/Chief Executive Officer concerning policy recommendations and suggested courses of action pertinent to the efficient operation of assigned departments.**:
- **Advises and makes recommendations to the Chief Medical Officer/Chief Executive Officer concerning budgeting, cost and financial matters.**:
- **Encourages and assists department managers in establishing measures of performance including: increased productivity, market share, quality improvement, cost controls and maximum utilization of facilities.**:
- **Advises Chief Medical Officer/Chief Executive Officer where executive action is necessary to accomplish these quality goals.**:
- **Ensures the center achieves and/or maintains accreditation by relevant Cardiovascular societies including but not limited to; Society of Thoracic Surgeons; American College of Cardiology; National Cardiac Data Registry**
**What qualifications you will need**:
Education: College Degree, Masters preferred (MSN, MBA, or MHA)
Licensure: n/a
Experience: Minimum of 5 (prefer 10) years in Cardiovascular Services, with at least half of those years in Cardiovascular leadership (prefer in a program with full Cardiovascular services)
