Our esteemed client hospital, a leading teaching hospital and premier Level I Trauma Center, seeks a seasoned and accomplished Executive Director of Dialysis Services to lead their dedicated team. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the seamless operation of the Dialysis Unit. As the Executive Director, you will oversee a team of healthcare professionals, manage department budgets, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and clinical direction and supervision for the dialysis service line, including renal clinic, inpatient adult and pediatric acutes program, all outpatient adult hemodialysis clinics, adult and pediatric home dialysis modalities, and jail dialysis services.
  • Collaborates with the Medical Director(s) to plan, organize, supervise, evaluate, and administer activities of the various dialysis programs.
  • Promotes the Health System Customer Relation's policy.
  • Leads, mentors, and inspires a team of nurses and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Monitors patient care metrics and quality indicators to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Fosters an environment of professional growth and ongoing education for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Oversees the performance evaluation process, providing constructive feedback and recognizing exceptional performance.
  • Participates in leadership meetings and contributes to the organization's strategic planning initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the state.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in Dialysis Services - both inpatient and outpatient.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
