**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Program Supervisor will directly coordinate the day-to-day functions of the Working Wellness program, which aims to support individuals who are CalWORKs recipients in overcoming their mental health challenges that create barriers to obtaining competitive employment. The Program Supervisor will oversee referrals and case assignment, provide support utilizing a collaborative decision-making team model, supervise implementation of Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) employment services, and supervise direct service staff and graduate student trainees to ensure a seamless delivery of services. This role will uphold and champion the agency’s mission, vision, and values and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work culture.

**Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities**:
**Program Leadership and Standards**:

- Provide leadership to La Familia Working Wellness Staff, including consultation, supervision, documentation review, and documentation completion.
- Actively collaborate with subcontractors - including the primary subcontractor of the City of Fremont, Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC) - and other stakeholders to enhance program services and agency objectives.
- Oversee referral, case assignment, and intake process in collaboration with the Social Services Agency and FRC Staff
- Lead and collaborate on special projects related to the success of assigned programs.
- Responsible for the program’s proper implementation of IPS principles and the successful adherence to the IPS Fidelity scale.
- Coordinate and facilitate the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Model meetings, which brings together the client, service providers, and other sources of support to coordinate services based upon the client’s individualized plan.
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly Working Wellness staff meetings for client updates.
- Lead as hiring manager for program staff: using network connections to identify appropriate entities for staff recruitment develop and update job descriptions and interview questions, collaborate with other leadership staff on final selections and onboarding.

**Staff Management and Supervision**:

- Provide leadership and supervision to program staff including, but not limited to:

- Weekly individual supervision meetings with direct report staff.
- Regular informal feedback (in addition to organizationally determined formalized feedback processes) to ensure that all staff continue to develop professionally over time.
- Provide leadership in collaboration with other leadership staff:

- Develop, maintain, update, and distribute Program Manual and Staff Orientation materials.
- Establish and enforce expectations related to professional ethical comportment.
- Develop, edit, and implement training processes and materials for all staff.
- Support placement of Graduate Trainees within programs in collaboration with the Multicultural Psychotherapy Training Institute.
- Establish and track performance expectations for program and staff members, most notably hours of billable services, documentation standards, and quality clinical interventions. Also, collaborate to develop, maintain, and verify quality standards for the program in collaboration with La Familia’s Quality Assurance Department.
- Oversee work product of independent contractors, as appropriate.

**Contract Management**
- Review and understand all elements of program contracts on a regular basis (no less than annually), including performance expectations, staffing levels, reporting, regulatory bodies, policy requirements, program meeting
- Lead on coordination with and management of subcontracted persons or entities (e.g.FRC).
- Collaborate with La Familia Development and Administrative staff in identifying, pursuing, and fulfilling appropriate funding opportunities for the Department or Agency.
- Collaborate with Department Director regarding managing the program budgets.
- Participate in funder meetings and collaborative efforts, in collaboration with other leadership. Communicate effectively, proactively, and professionally with funder representatives at all levels.

**Other**
- Complete internal reports as requested by executive and administrative staff members
- Attend trainings and participate in events relevant to key responsibilities
- Track and regularly report on key metrics for responsible function areas
- Leads and collaborate on special projects related to agency objectives as appropriate

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Education and experience equivalent to undergraduate degree in mental/behavioral health, social services, or business.
- Experience working with diverse populations and people with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Experience providing employment services and knowledge of workforce development are strongly preferred.
- Ability to work as an effective team player is essential.
