Located in the Arts District, DTLA, Hyperblack Studios operates a 10,000 sq ft photography studio catering to fashion, beauty and wellness brands. We shoot product photography, lifestyle photography, and video daily. As a group of creatives, we love to collaborate and go above & beyond for the brands we support.

The Studio Assistant / Receptionist provides operational and administrative assistance to Hyperblack Studios. Ideal for someone interested in learning about product photography and/or fashion as this role will have potential growth within the company. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Greeting/welcoming clients & guests - constantly maintaining a positive presence in the studio ensuring guests are greeted with a smile
- Answering phone calls with a friendly demeanor to engage potential clients
- Intake and organization of all incoming packages
- Maintaining studio cleanliness and organization - removing trash daily, restocking studio fridges, wiping common area surfaces
- Managing stock levels of supplies, drinks & snacks, notifying team members when new orders need to be placed
- Sample check-in and check-out
- Sample preparation and steaming
- Assisting senior staff on set as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to function calmly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Friendly, positive demeanor
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work alone, be a problem solver, and follow up with management, co-workers, and clients
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
