Job Description: Client Engagement Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Admissions

**Position Overview**:
As a key member of the Northern Illinois Recovery team, the Client Engagement Coordinator is responsible for completing the intake process with all new admit clients, creating a warm first impression of NIR for new admit clients, serving as an initial liaison between NIR and families, engaging in frequent direct contact with new admit clients during their first week of treatment, and collaborating with the larger NIR treatment team to ensure continuity of care. This role is also responsible for planning, organizing, and executing alumni events. This position supports graduating clients transitioning into a recovery-centered life, while keeping them connected to the NIR community and alumni program.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport/relationships with a variety of different people
- Able to handle confidential material in a reliable manner
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated organizational skills
- Proficient computer literacy
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and also as a member of a larger team of clinicians, administrators, and medical staff

**Duties Include**:

- Complete the intake process with all new clients, including but not limited to intake paperwork and general program orientation
- Serve as a family liaison by answering general program questions and providing initial family contact
- Oversee development and success of NIR’s alumni program
- Maintain regular communication with NIR alumni to promote engagement among alumni members
- Develop, manage, and maintain database with all individuals enrolled in the alumni program
- Coordinate and execute alumni meetings and events
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned

**Job Qualifications**:
High school diploma or GED/equivalent

Knowledge of standards for security, ethics, confidentiality, rules of conduct, and professionalism

Valid Drivers License or otherwise reliable means of transportation - required

1 year experience in behavioral health or other relevant field - preferred

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
