Job Title: Office Manager - Outpatient/Home Therapy Rehabilitation Clinic

Location: Stamford, CT

Overview:
We are a leading outpatient rehabilitation center dedicated to providing exceptional Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech Therapy services to our community. Our team is committed to delivering personalized care and fostering a supportive environment for our patients to thrive in.

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing various administrative tasks, including scheduling, intake, front desk duties, insurance benefits confirmations, patient communications, appointment confirmations, and payment processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the front desk operations, including greeting patients, answering phones, and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Schedule appointments for OT, PT, and Speech Therapy sessions ensuring optimal utilization of therapist time and efficient patient flow.
- Perform intake procedures, including collecting patient information, insurance details, and medical history accurately and confidentially.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations for therapy services.
- Communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling as needed.
- Confirm appointments and follow up with patients to ensure attendance and satisfaction with services.
- Process copayments, payments, and insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with therapists and other team members to address patient needs and concerns effectively.
- Assist in managing office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
- Provide administrative support to therapists and clinical staff as needed.
- Additional administrative tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting, preferably in rehabilitation services.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems and google suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.

**Benefits**:
This is a full time position posting with the following benefits
- Competitive salary range 55,000-63,000 annual commensurate with experience
