Director of Manufacturing

**COMPANY OVERVIVEW**:
Pavement Maintenance Group (PMG) is the largest industry leader in the production and distribution of pavement preservation and maintenance products. We are seeking a leader who has an entrepreneurial attitude and possess the leadership that can support the initiatives and goals of the organization to continue with their growth.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Oversee plant operations and overall maintenance efficiencies for 8 plants in multiple states
- Oversee Plant Renovations
- Able to troubleshoot equipment and ensure quality of product meets specifications
- Hands on to assist with diagnosis of equipment failures
- Oversee manufacturing of sealer, equipment, fleet repair and rental equipment
- Work closely with President to strategize on best practices within the regions
- Assist maintenance teams and operations support with creating and implementing standard maintenance procedures that work with production planning
- Work with teams to lead equipment and electrical installations and electrical then test to ensure the proper functioning and follow up training for new installations or locations
- Initiate and facilitate improvement projects processes to ensure each plant has systems operating to its full potential
- Experience with purchasing of equipment and supplies
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 10 years’ experience in the coating, adhesive, liquid form industrial manufacturing industry preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, trucking w/delivery system
- Project Management experience
- Excellent analytical, problem solving
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong experience in building a culture of engagement and performance improvement
- Demonstrate an Inspirational leadership approach to leading others
- Track record of making decisions even when outside area of expertise
- Must have high capacity to manage multiple priorities with a high balance of emotional control
- Able to provide guidance/training to more junior staff, creates win
- win situations
- Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and be highly visible in the Operatio
- Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
- Record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers
- Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
- Valid Drivers license, ability to travel up to 25% of the month

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive for long periods of time, sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, squat, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear.
