The Regional Field Manager (RFM) oversees all aspects of home building and renovation processes to meet BBH Construction quality standards and local building codes. Responsible for managing budgets, maintaining construction schedules, and meeting customer satisfaction goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Schedule construction activities to follow the critical path and timeline requirements.
- Ensure all homes are completed 100% on or before the delivery date.
- Communicate weekly with sales about the status of homes under construction.
- Conduct and document scheduled customer appointments through post-closing protocols.
**Contractor Management**:
- Ensure trades understand and adhere to scopes of work, schedules, plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review job-specific information with trade contractors before work begins.
- Handle conflicts with trade contractors promptly and fairly.
- Evaluate trade contractor performance and provide regular feedback.
- Seek feedback from trade contractors to improve processes, systems, and techniques.
**Job Site Management**:
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of job sites.
- Enforce job site rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Maintain erosion control measures and land development features.
**Construction Cost and Material Control**:
- Ensure each home is built within the budget.
- Propose cost-saving ideas when appropriate.
- Identify and document variances to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure accurate and secure material deliveries.
- Resolve invoice and payment issues promptly.
- Follow policies and procedures for contract and non-contract work payments.
**Quality Management**:
- Ensure quality construction standards and techniques.
- Review plan accuracy and communicate issues through revisions.
- Conduct daily walks of homes under construction.
- Perform quality control inspections as required.
- Communicate construction, customer service, or safety issues to management with resolution suggestions.
**Construction Knowledge and Skills**:
- Maintain knowledge of local codes and estimating skills.
- Understand all scopes of work.
- Multi-task and prioritize tasks without compromising quality.
- Be proficient with MAC, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other necessary programs.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Complete paperwork, reports, and files on time and in the correct format.
- Conduct weekly construction team meetings.
- Present a professional image in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain high ethics and integrity.
- Manage personal time effectively.
- Take overall responsibility for all homes under construction.
- Attend and pass BBH Construction training programs.
- Work is primarily performed on construction sites, with occasional office work. The environment is typically active and fast-paced.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in construction, preferably with a production builder.
- 3-5+ years of home-building experience preferred.
- Support team members and maintain a collaborative approach.
- Adaptable and flexible attitude.
- Ability to handle high-volume situations.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and decision-making skills.
- Enthusiasm for BBH Construction's mission and growth.
- Valid Driver's License required.
***Compensation**:
- $20-24.00 Hourly
