HJF's support and administrative capabilities allow military medical researchers and clinicians to maintain their scientific focus and accomplish their research goals.

This position will be in support of the Defense & Veterans Center for Integrative Pain Management (DVCIPM).

**Responsibilities**:
**Responsibilities**
- Performs data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains database files, creates, collects, disseminates, and maintains appropriate study data, and uploads into established data capture platforms.
- Performs sample processing, tracking, and preparation of specimen's for shipment. Maintains supplies in the laboratory and ensures proper cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with Good Clinical Practices.
- Performs literature searches, identification and retrieval. Assists with the preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations including editing and formatting documents.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

Qualifications:
**Work Environment**
- This position will take place primarily in a clinic, hospital, or office environment.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 0-2 year's experience required.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to understand and utilize scientific/medical terminology and research theory in both oral and written communications.
- Ability to use measurable and verifiable information for making decisions or judgments; Excellent organizational and project management skills.

**Physical Capabilities**
- Ability to stand or sit at a computer for prolonged periods
