The selectee will serve as a Program Analyst (Data Analytics) in the Benefits and Payroll Division OR the Business Solutions Division. Typical work assignments include:

- Consulting with stakeholders and customers to identify the appropriate data, methodological approaches, and designs. Translating complex concepts, findings, and limitations into concise plain language and tying findings and conclusions to the agency's mission, original problem statement, and team objectives.
- Researching and designing presentations and interpretations of analytical outputs.
- Translating the results of analysis into clear, actionable communications that equip Agency decisionmakers with information needed to make informed, data-driven decisions about digital product development and IT strategies.
- Serving as a resource leader to Federal and contractor staff on implementing, managing, tracking, and evaluating large scale and extremely complete data analysis projects and their associated requirements and risk.

If selected for this position, you will be required to:

- Submit to a drug test and credit check prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.

- Obtain and maintain a top secret Tier 5 clearance.

**Qualifications**:
**You qualify for the GS-13 level (starting salary $117,962) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level preforming duties such as**:

- Solving complex data management issues such as data interface and storage; requiring modeling; data backup and recovery; data dictionaries and warehousing; data mining; data disposal; and data standardization processes;
- Consulting with stakeholders and customers to identify the appropriate data; methodological approach; and design; **AND**:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
