Pickleball Facility General Manager

**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our state of the art Pickleball Facility. The role will be responsible for all aspects of the daily operations of the facility. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the premises. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum three years experience working within a sports facility complex. Previous experience in management a plus.
- Strong background in the game of pickleball including rules and regulations, the PB industry, and tournaments.
- Comfortable using court reservation technology and use of other online platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
**Requirements**:
- Have a strong knowledge of and passion for the game of pickleball.
- This position will have a heavy focus on the player experience including strong customer service skills with a friendly, personable attitude.
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter and exit the facility to create a warm community atmosphere.
- Responsible for checking in guests as they arrive to play, scheduled or unscheduled, court management, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Position will be responsible for managing memberships and assisting guests in sign up, as needed.
- Experience with teaching pickleball to players of varying skill groups.
- Oversee all pickleball operations including court play and pro shop.
- This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the facility including but not limited to staff scheduling and supervision, hours of operations, court reservation management, etc.
- Assist management in the development of the rules and regulations of the facility.
- Oversee the entire food and beverage operation within the facility.
- Have a willingness to organize tournaments, games, and various events between members.
- Assist in promoting and marketing the facility pre and post launch.
- During the construction of the facility, this role is expected to work hand in hand with management to design and brand the facility to maximize awareness.
- Responsible for financial performance, creation of and adherence to budgets, increasing profitability, and maximizing court usage/play time.
- Assist in execution of management driven initiatives for the facility.
- Work with organizations within the surrounding area to build relationships and create corporate events/bookings for team building activities to drive revenue.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
