**Advanced Small Arms Lethality Trainer (ASALT) Instructor/Operator I**

**JOB SUMMARY**

Primary responsibility will be to lead and conduct training in the Gunfighter Gym/Advanced Small Arms Lethality Trainer synthetic training environment.

Responsible for managing daily training courses at CK’s synthetic weapons training site, assisting end users, troubleshooting, repair, and support of CK systems supporting proprietary training scenarios.

**FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide and deliver dynamic weapons, tactics, human performance, and cognitive overload training and instruction during synthetic training for small arms and crew served weapons to include M27/M4/M18/M9/M11/M240/M2/MK19 in accordance with Marine Corps Standards and Conflict Kinetics Proprietary Training Methodology.
- Work with client to identify need for proprietary training scenario modifications.
- Deliver AARs and debriefs following training.
- Ensure accurate individual training data is captured by the system as required.
- Manage daily operations of synthetic weapons training site
- Assist in ensuring operational capability and readiness/availability of system.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs of CK systems and equipment.
- Perform system capabilities and limitations demonstrations.
- Provide system reports to client as required.
- Provide technical support to client as required.
- Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassemble synthetic weapons, compressed air magazines, and other ancillary support equipment as required.
- Meet or exceed expertise requirements set by Program Manager
- Deliver weekly training reports to Program Manager/others as directed.
- Adhere to CK dress code as required (CK shirts provided)
- Responsible for site/facility cleanliness.
- Other duties, as assigned.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a FTE firearms instructor; this experience must have been earned as part of other DoD, federal, state, or local government training assignments.
- DoD Combat Arms background
- DoD Honorably Discharged Veteran (USMC preferred)
- Ability to obtain & maintain access to DoD Installations VIA DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System)
- Within 6 months must successfully complete Conflict Kinetics Personal Qualification Standards and be CK Trainer Qualified, CK Green Team Graduate, & CK Armorer Qualified.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task.
- Ability to present ideas to non-technical staff and end users.

- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Experience with desktop operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand tools is required.
- A proven understanding of Human Performance principles and concepts.

**PREFFERED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Armorer experience (DoD or Civilian)
- Formal Physical Fitness training
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware
- Proficiency with computer networking systems and cross-platform skills

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Classroom conditions will be comparable to a typical office setting with work hours of 0700-1900 based on the training schedule, with a typical 8-hour workday. Conditions could require wearing PPE, working primarily indoors with prolonged periods of standing and moving while delivering training.
- Capable of standing and instructing/maintaining for 6-8 hours per day.
- Based upon the needs of the program and Project Management discretion, qualified individuals may be required to temporarily fill an alternate position.
