Optical Technician:
As an Optical Lab Technician, you will work closely with engineers and scientist contributing to the development of optical, opto-mechanical, and opto-electrical systems, sub-systems and components for various products. You are organized with your work and detail orientated.
- Fabricate, assemble, align, test optical, opto-electrical, and opto-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems
- Operate various optical instruments
- Manage lab/shop materials and supplies and maintain lab/shop readiness
- Provide feedback on assembly and test process and help red line procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Technical school or equivalent with 3+ years’ experience
- Experience working with optical components, cleaning, cutting, aligning, measuring
- Experience working in an R&D setting or cleanroom
- Experience improving or working with engineers to improve SOP's
- Proficient with basic computer skills, experience with MS Word and Excel
- Able to deal with ambiguity

Regards,

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
