SkyBell is currently looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Technical Support Specialist for our Irvine, California-based call center team as we are expanding and will soon release our next generation of home security products.

**What We Are Looking For**

As a member of the customer service technical support team, you will provide exceptional assistance for our customers over the phone, through support tickets, or both. Our customers range from professional security system installers to D.I.Y.minded homeowners.

As a member of the team, you will provide a positive and productive experience for the customer by listening patiently, asking relevant investigative questions, assisting in identifying the cause of the problem, and finding the best options and solutions.

**What the qualified applicant needs to be successful in this role**:

- Call Center experience is required.
- Telephone based Technical Support or extensive Customer Service enter experience is required.
- Self-Starter with a motivated attitude to learn technical products and systems quickly.
- Familiarity with routers and basic home-networking
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when capturing documentation and customer information.
- Excellent verbal and telephone communication skills that create confidence within the caller.
- Strong investigative skills, ability to ask probing questions, and analyze the responses in order to properly troubleshoot the customer's issue.
- Ability to display patience, respect, empathy, graciousness, and a positive attitude while helping a customer who may express frustration while troubleshooting their device.
- Ability to communicate technological information to an inexperienced customer.
- Ability to multi-task during a call which includes troubleshooting, speaking with the customer, and accurately documenting call notes and tickets.
- Ability to use proper grammar, accurate spelling, and proper punctuation when communicating via support tickets.
- Ability to maintain clear, concise record keeping of your customer interactions that help the whole team support our customers.
- Team Player with whom co-workers enjoy interacting with.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
