**Job Summary**:
The Controller at Lincoln Electric will act as the financial steward of the company. This role involves overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.

Responsibilities include maintaining financial frameworks, compliance with legal standards, managing

financial staff, and supporting executive management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Oversee accounting department operations, ensuring goals and objectives are met with an adequate organizational structure.

Ensure timely monthly financial reporting, including statements and analysis of budget variances, to senior management.

Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations.

Manage general ledger functions, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, and report on any variances from expectations.

Coordinate regulatory reporting and support month-end and year-end close processes.

Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting by developing and enforcing internal controls.

Develop financial systems and policies, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Mentor and develop the finance team, providing leadership in financial management.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial controller role, or as an accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant.

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.

Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Experienced in creating financial statements and managing general ledger functions and month/year-end close processes.

Expertise in using financial software and administration tools.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

In-depth understanding of corporate accounting processes, including payroll and accounts payable/receivable.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with an ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
