IT Support Specialist

Keating Dental Lab offers comprehensive dental laboratory services, catering to dentists nationwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our IT team as an IT Support Specialist. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide Technical Support

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.

Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- User Assistance

Assist with the set-up and onboarding of new employees.
- Troubleshooting

Investigate and troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.

Identify and resolve issues related to security, data protection, and system performance.

Document and maintain records of support activities and solutions.

Perform software installations, updates, and patches.
- Software and System Updates

Perform software installation, updates, and patches.

Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades and enhancements.
- Hardware Maintenance

Conduct routine maintenance on hardware components.

Coordinate repairs and replacements of faulty hardware.
- Additional Skills (optional)

Familiarity with Hubspot CRM and Marketing is a plus.

Any additional skills or certifications that enhance IT support capabilities are welcome.

Possess knowledge and experience in writing queries for databases.

Ability to create and execute SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Proven experience in a similar IT support role is preferred
- Technical Skills

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows and MacOS.

Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.

Any additional skills enhancing IT support capabilities.
- Communication Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Customer Skills

Strong customer service orientation.

Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
- Certifications (Optional)

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar would be plus.
- Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer workstation. Mobility to move within an office environment to provide support to end-users.

Capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Occasional bending, kneeling, and climbing.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
