**Final Assembly Group Lead**

**Job Purpose**:
Oversees a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area. May assist in the transition of new products into manufacturing. Monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations and alignments. Clears minor machine difficulties and performs maintenance and repair as trained by a technician, engineer or supervisor. Assists operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations. Spot checks product to ensure quality levels are maintained.

**Nature of Duties**:

- To direct; coordinate and schedule the manufacturing process in the area.
- Monitor and control production goals and efficiencies
- Work closely with Management and Scheduling Department
- Maintain exceptional quality standards.
- Will discuss other responsibilities at interview.

**Requirements and skills needed for the job**:

- Previous leadership skills preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to direct and train employees.
- Responsible, organized and self-motivated.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Problem solving ability.
- Excellent attendance-must be able to work all overtime.
- 4-6 years of related experience preferred.
- High School or GED
- These are the primary responsibilities of the position - however, the qualified applicant may be asked to perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor for production necessity.
