**Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Manager - Operations and Maintenance/Performance Monitoring**
**IMPORTANT**:This position is for an upcoming opportunity that will hire around the July timeframe.
**Location**: Alexandria, VA
**Summary**: The Quality Control Manager will assume a senior leadership role and possess demonstrated experience managing programs of similar size and complexity. They will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to quality policies, procedures, and customer requirements. Additionally, they will lead initiatives for continuous improvement, manage audits, and provide training and development for the Quality team. (needs rework maybe)
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Quality department, aligning efforts with company goals and objectives.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement within the quality department and the Quality Management System.
- Develop and implement training programs for the Quality team and other relevant departments.
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Manage internal and supplier audits, ensuring timely completion and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Analyze metric data and trends to suggest improvement ideas and corrective actions.
- Participate in new product gate reviews and ensure proper documentation and customer requirements are met.
- Assist in the completion of quality documentation requirements.
- Improve Statistical Process Control activities and analyze data to identify process improvements.
- Perform other quality-related tasks as needed..
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6-8 years of experience, preferred.
- Minimum of two years in a leadership role required.
- Ability to work closely with all business processes and functions.
- Strong independent thinking, organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train, teach, and mentor subordinates.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and implement change.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
