We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
- identify and source new suppliers and vendors
- develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- troubleshoot cost, quality and delivery concerns
- work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements
- review purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance with organizational policy and procedures
- facilitate timely placement of purchase orders
Education and Experience
- experience in purchasing and procurement required
- ISO, ASO, DFARS experience a plus
- manufacturing experience a plus
