A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) is seeking a Director of Accreditation and Assessment on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This is a full-time exempt position at.75 FTE; 30 hours/week. The Director of Accreditation and Assessment will report directly to the Dean of the School and indirectly to the School Department Chairs/ Program Directors to whom they will provide ongoing support in the areas of accreditation and compliance as well as assessment. They will work closely with the University Office of Assessment and Accreditation to ensure compliance with all programs.

**Major Job Duties**:
**ACCREDITATION**

Support programmatic accreditation for programs within the School through their respective programmatic/specialized accrediting bodies by:

- Organizing, collecting, and monitoring institutional information and data required for programmatic and institutional accreditation.
- Developing and managing accreditation plans and timelines for existing and developing programs within the School.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accreditation standards and requirements and proactively communicate emerging developments and trends related to accreditation.

**ASSESSMENT**

Support assessment efforts within the School by:

- Providing support and guidance to program directors in developing and implementing assessment plans and activities for School programs.
- Ensuring alignment of assessment standards and practices within the University's educational objectives and accreditation standards.
- Overseeing ASHS Data/Assessment Manager efforts to coordinate collection, analysis, and reporting of data to inform/drive program improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide reports and guidance regarding programmatic accreditation requirements and timelines for current and developing programs.
- Develop and deliver training materials to assist faculty, staff, and administrators to best understand accreditation and compliance.
- Identify and report opportunities for program improvement based on assessment data and accreditation feedback.
- Collaborate with and support Program leaders to develop and implement quality improvement plans.
- Collaborate with Program leaders, faculty, and staff to develop and implement assessment tools and methods.
- Prepare and present reports on assessment and accreditation activities to internal stakeholders (OAA, Dean, Chairs and Program Directors).
- Positively contribute to continuous improvement in developing a School-wide culture of assessment and quality assurance.

**Education & Experience**:

- Masters Degree Required.
- 2-3 Years of experience collecting, managing, analyzing and reporting data.
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (faculty, staff, leaders, internal/external partners).
- Experience leading and managing programmatic accreditation activities.
- Experience leading educational and program assessment, preferably in a medical or health sciences education setting.
- Knowledge of accreditation and assessment best practices.
- Knowledge of designing, implementing, and managing assessment and accreditation strategies.
- Proficient in productivity software such as Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing tools such as Zoom.
- Ability to write, proofread, and edit materials for specific audiences.
- Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize high stakes workload, and to respectfully assure stakeholder cooperation to achieve desired outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
