**Position Overview**:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Boarding School Program Manager to oversee our flagship boarding school program. This role is crucial to ensuring the success and smooth operation of our training curriculum for dogs of all breeds and temperaments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Program Management**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the boarding school, including scheduling, staffing, and facility management.
- Work with Client Care and Operations to hit program targets.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum for our boarding school program, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and our company's training philosophy.

**Staff Leadership and Development**:

- Hire, train, and supervise a team of skilled trainers and support staff to deliver exceptional service to our clients and their dogs.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to ensure staff members have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes teamwork, communication, and mutual respect. Conduct performance evaluations annually and handle disciplinary actions as necessary.

**Client Communication and Satisfaction**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact/case manager for clients enrolled in the boarding school program, addressing inquiries, providing updates on their dog's progress, and offering support as needed.
- Proactively seek feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Act as a brand ambassador for OpB, embodying our values and commitment to excellence in every interaction with clients and stakeholders.

**Program and Health/Safety Compliance**:

- Proactively take the lead to update program and facility protocols in response to any changes or suggested changes. - Implement protocols and procedures to minimize health/safety risks and prioritize the well-being of all dogs in our care.
- Regularly assess and update program and safety protocols in response to changing conditions or emerging best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in animal science, psychology, business management, or a related field (preferred).
- Dog training experience _minimum_ of 2 years, certifications preferred.
- Must be great with dogs and even better with people.
- Proven track record with managing and developing a team.
- Proven experience in dog training and behavior modification, with a strong understanding of canine learning theory and behavior principles.
- Previous management or leadership experience in a similar role, with demonstrated success in program development, staff supervision, and client relations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and build rapport with clients.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and priorities
- Passion for working with dogs and a genuine commitment to their welfare and enrichment.
- Consistent commitment to creating exceptional customer experience expectations and empowering the team to embrace this at the cultural level.
