**What will you be doing?**

Making an impact every day. You will be part of a dynamic, passionate team of professionals who work to drive the learning strategy of EMPath and its mission to disrupt poverty.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization, the **Curriculum Designer **will contribute to the strengthening and evolution of EMPath’s economic mobility model (Mobility Mentoring®) through the creation and continuous improvement of our learning products, workshops, and online courses.

**In this position, you will**:

- Collaborate across the organization to develop and refine curriculum on the Mobility Mentoring model and related topics.
- Develop and facilitate new online courses, learning products, and workshops in response to learner need and feedback, continuously offering innovative approaches to learning with an emphasis on learner engagement and applied assessment.
- Assess quality of learning through quantitative and qualitative measures and developing related protocols for continuous feedback across the organization.
- Confer regular meetings to routinely assess existing curriculum and determine priorities for the development and evolution of new courses and products.
- Oversee and supervise related learning projects and staff as the needs arise.

**What traits and experiences do you need to be successful in this role?**
- A background in coaching, social work, or counseling. In this role you will not only be contributing to the creation of the learning products; but also, to the content expertise.
- Experience with curriculum development through formal education or through organizational practice.
- Demonstrated experience leading and designing engaging workshops, both in person and virtually.
- Experience working with online learning platforms or strong desire and ability to quickly learn.
- Formal or informal experience designing clear and engaging graphics, visual assets, and videos.
- Experience providing reflective consultation and supervision to colleagues.
- Superior written and oral communication skills, ideally with demonstrated experience of writing through reports.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing complex projects through their lifecycles.
- Strong acumen and finesse of technology platforms and enthusiastic curiosity to learn and adapt (In particular: PowerPoint, Zoom, Canva, Adobe - or ability to quickly learn).
- Analytical, process and systems orientated thinker.
- Desire to grow as a professional, and a deep belief in continuously learning.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) required.
- Master’s Degree in relevant field (social work, mental health, counseling, public health) strongly preferred.
