Front Office Receptionist/scheduler

First Command Financial Services is committed to helping military families get their financial lives squared away. As we continue to expend our team, we are seeking talented individuals who have an internal drive, a passion for the military and desire for professional growth to join our Camp Springs, MD team.
We are looking for a friendly face (or two) to greet our clients and maintain an excellent experience for all who walk through our doors. This could be a full time position for a single person, or part time for two people. The hours that need covered are 8am-5pm M-F, with federal holidays off.
**Position Overview**
- Complete the Office Opening procedures, if the first to arrive
- Complete Office Closing procedures, if the last to leave
- Answer incoming phone calls**;** handle accordingly; forward to staff, Advisor, DA or OM; take messages as needed
- Receive & sign for incoming deliveries; disperse as needed
- Open all incoming mail unless it’s addressed to the DA and marked confidential
- Share & communicate pertinent incoming mail with Office Manager (OM); provide to Advisor team if it pertains to one of their clients
- Greet in person clients; offer beverage(s) to clients
- Pull the prepped client folder for the appointment; if applicable
- Sending Fed Ex Envelopes/packages
- Mailing client letters; forms etc.
- Scanning compliance or non-complex documents into client files
- **Client Contact Specialist (CCS) duties**: Assist Advisors with making calls to clients to schedule appointments; Schedule follow-up or annual appointments with the client(s) prior to them leaving the office; offer post-appointment survey
**Desired Qualifications**
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal (phone) communication skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office: specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated
- 5+ years general office experience
- High school diploma
- Satisfactory completion of background check, fingerprinting, and required employment documentation
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
