We are searching for a Manager Monitoring & Auditing — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will ensure that we have effective internal controls in high-risk areas which serve to mitigate the risk of fraud, abuse, errors and omissions as well as promote compliance with Federal/State Laws/Regulations, Contractual Obligations and Corporate Policies/ Procedures. You will manage the compliance program ensure that TCHP is in compliance with state and federal rules, regulations and laws and the Health Plan's contracts with the Health and Human Services Commission for the CHIP and Medicaid product lines.

You will review and approve testing protocols and monitoring plans developed to validate compliance with corporate internal controls. In this position, you’ll oversee the department's performance in conducting evaluations, monitoring, and consulting activities related to Health Plan operations. You will also share recommendations to the Director and Sr. Leadership for improving the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures and is responsible for development and maintenance of a central repository housing those functions.

**Skills & Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare administration, accounting, auditing, business administration, information systems, research/data analysis, or other healthcare or business-related field of study Required
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- One of the followed certifications preferred: CHC - Certified in Healthcare Compliance - Compliance Certification Board (CCB) Or CCEP - Cert Compliance & Ethics Prof, Compliance Certification Board (CCB) Or CHPC - Cert Healthcare Privacy Compliance Certification Board (CCB) **_p _**_referred _
- 5 years compliance, auditing, or other related work experience Required
- Formal leadership experience _preferred _

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Reviews and approves annual updates to the department work plan to access the effectiveness of existing internal controls in high-risk areas.
- Performs multi-project management duties.
- Assists Director with review and approval of reporting to various TCHP committees, which includes the executive management team.
- Reviews and approves department audit/monitoring reports and findings, to ensure the report is accurate and sufficient, and also ensures relevant evidence exists to support the department’s work objectives.
- Responsible for the management of personnel’s time and department resources. Monitors progress for completion of projects within established timelines through the management of staff, staff meetings. Conducts annual assessments of personnel training needs and uses internal and external sources, within budget, to ensure staff has the skills and knowledge to perform work plans.
- Develops department budget to ensure the Controls and Compliance department is appropriately staffed and has the tools and resources needed to achieve department
