**POSITION OVERVIEW (Director of Strategy)**:
The Director of Data Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the school's data strategy to enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives. This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data governance, analytics, and reporting processes.

**RESPONSIBILITIES (Director of Strategy)**:

- Develop and Implement Data Strategy:

- Formulate and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the school's mission and objectives.
- Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Data Analytics and Reporting:

- Lead the design and implementation of data analytics and reporting systems to provide timely and relevant insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify key performance indicators and develop dashboards for tracking and reporting.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with academic and administrative departments to understand their data needs and provide strategic guidance.
- Communicate data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing data strategy team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

**QUALIFICATIONS (Director of Strategy)**:

- Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum of 7 years) in a leadership role focused on data strategy, analytics, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Experience working in an educational setting is a plus.
