Rate: $55-63 Per Hour W2
- The estimate above represents the candidate's typical compensation range at the time of hire. Several factors may be utilized to determine your hourly rate including but not limited to years of experience and specific skillsets compared to employees in this role. Candidates typically start at the lower half of the estimated range.
- This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan. Mondo defers to the applicable State or local law for paid sick leave eligibility.
- Provide stewardship for the digital creative ecosystem: Develop communications strategies that meet business, marketing, and creative goals; provide guidance on key digital investments needed to take advantage of the changing digital landscape. Build trust among client leadership in the agency's digital abilities.
- Build inspirational and innovative campaign strategies: Collaborate with brand planning, media, and analytics & insights teams to develop campaign strategies that solve client problems and set the stage for innovative creative ideas.
- Cultural intelligence: Map cultural and market trends, and research and analyze marketplace and media data. Stay at the forefront of the communications landscape and have a point of view on what will matter next; oversee the development of point-of-view memos by senior strategists and digital strategists.
- Develop context: Use a variety of third-party research tools, collaborate with our brand planning team on custom research, and source new methods to uncover insights in service of unlocking new ways to frame a project or develop insightful and inspiring briefs.
- Collaborate and make great work: Partner closely with creatives (of all kinds) to bring groundbreaking work to life. Collaborate with producers to ensure that production needs are met efficiently, delivering world-class creative to any channel.
- Contribute to training and thought leadership: Propose ideas and seek out ways to push the agency's thinking forward. Write inspiring trend pieces. Build and give presentations that point us toward innovative communications ideas.
- Leadership: Directly manage the professional and personal growth of a digital strategist (one or two direct reports).
- Developing recommendations to their clients on how they can best make investments in media and structure and media campaigns.
- Making recommendations and selling it to their clients - creative inspired work
- LEADING a team - director should have anywhere from 2-4 people in their group and a main day to day responsibility is helping those people unlock their own skills (analysis, creativity, understanding how to manage production)
- Independent role - they run the show, tons of autonomy
- 2-5 clients (2-3 core clients)
- Agency experience or agency exposure (could be on brand side), need to understand how agencies work. They are meant to guide vendors and make connections between different teams/partners. They are the connector.
- Able to coach and mentor others (truly take pleasure in helping their team grow and making people better at their job)
- Data Analysis - media background
- Presenting work - makes clients want to lean in and buy it
- Ability to effectively show a creative sensibility (judge creative ideas, potential)
- Cultivate an idea from the bare bones to something that is effective
