**Duties**:

- Write and interpret DoD policy on the implementation of the eligibility program.
- Conduct compliance checks and recommend corrective action plans.
- Maintain accountability of registration records and eligibility determinations.
- Serve as technical advisor to the Chief of Staff for the DSE on matters relating to FOIA requests submitted by or pertaining to the Department of Defense.
- Analyze significant regional resource program trends and issues to identify resource requirements.
- Review eligibility program for efficiency and effectiveness to identify and provide training.

**Who May Apply**:U.S. Citizens- **Specialized Experience for GS 13**: One year of specialized experience which includes managing educational programs such as Enrollment and Eligibility; Interpreting federal/DoD laws and regulations regarding school eligibility; evaluating the effectiveness of these program operations; and recommending organizational and/or program improvements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
