Part-time Accounting Clerk

**Schedule**:

- 25 hours weekly; 5 hours a day
- Monday through Friday

**Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, independently, and with a group
- 10-key by touch
- Type 40+wpm
- Must pass drug test and background check
- Must have reliable transportation

**Responsibilities**:

- Full cycle of accounts payable including coding invoices for multiple companies
- Keep accurate and updated files for all vendors and payments
- Assist and be the alternate in bi-weekly payroll processing
- Assist with month-end procedures
- Assist with year-end preparation and reporting
- Keep and maintain W-9 forms and Worker’s Comp certificates
- Responsible for 1099 compliance and year-end filings
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
- Perform general office duties such as filing; answering phones; processing daily mail; and handling routine correspondence
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to position and companies
- Perform other duties as needed

**Additional Skills a Plus**:

- Knowledge and experience with Sage Accounting software
- Payroll and payroll tax experience

**Wage**:$20.00 to $22.00 hourly

**Holidays**:9 paid holidays per year
