- Expected pay is $53,000, with total compensation ranging from $69,881 to $83,673, depending on the selected medical and dental plans.- **Flexible Work**
This role will primarily be based on the Biddeford Campus. After an initial 6-month review and training period, you may have the opportunity to work in a hybrid flexible work arrangement. However, if granted, you must be able to attend meetings and regularly scheduled days on the Biddeford or Portland campus. Some travel between campuses may be required.**Responsibilities**
- The Assistant Registrar, Degree Audit and Graduation, manages staff, processes, and technology for degree auditing, graduation, and degree audit maintenance daily.
- Establishes business processes and workflows for degree audit and graduation clearance.
- Oversees the programming and maintenance of all degree programs in DegreeWorks and tests its functionality post-upgrades.
- Manages degree auditing and related training for university staff and leads the transition from CAPP to DegreeWorks for degree certification.
- Develop communication plans to support the implementation and upkeep of degree audits.
- Represents the University Registrar’s Office on university committees as requested.
- Ensures student record integrity and security in compliance with FERPA and accreditation standards.
- Develops and maintains queries and reports for Registrar’s Office staff.
- Collaborates with various university offices, including Financial Assistance, Assistant and Associate Deans, Institutional Research, and Information Technology Services.
- Monitors operational efficiency and compliance with standards and regulations and participates in office committees and working groups.

**Supervision Exercised**
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates two full-time Degree Auditor/Scribe positions.**Qualifications**
- A bachelor’s degree is required, along with a Minimum of three years of experience in a Registrar’s Office or an equivalent combination of education and experience.-
- Experience in an educational setting requiring regular interaction with various offices and people, including students, faculty, and staff.
- Experience with Ellucian Banner or other student information systems (Ellucian Colleague, Jenzabar, Peoplesoft, Workday, etc.) is preferred.
- Knowledge of degree audit systems (CAPP, DegreeWorks, etc.) and the related trends, issues, and accepted practices; understanding the complexity of online audit coding.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to collect, verify, and report data; ability to make procedural decisions or judgments on sensitive, confidential issues while complying with FERPA; ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment; ability to strategize and to be detail-oriented; ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
