**SUMMARY**

Installing equipment on vehicles

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**

Installation of various types of truck equipment, including: dump bodies, roll off hoists, flatbeds, snow and ice equipment, hydraulic wet kits, auxiliary axles and other equipment.

Understanding and the ability to install Power Take Offs (PTO) and Hydraulic pumps.

Ability to comprehend 12 volt electrical schematics and installation of 12 volt electrical control devices.

Ensures that all welds meet quality assurance standards

Attends product and technical training courses as requested by sales manager.

Keeps up-to-date on new products and services within the industry.

Prep parts (cut grind, sand etc.)

Read, comprehend, and execute ROs and Blueprints

Works with supervisor to provide and understand proper Job Order procedures.

And follows up on project accuracy and detail to make sure end product is built to customers’ orders or bid specs.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Basic Computer skills preferred

Three to five years of Welding experience in 1 or more of the following: MIG, TIG, Stick

Possess a technical understanding of Class 7 and Class 8 diesel truck chassis

Must be able to understand chassis specification data and chassis design drawings and dimensions

As well as equipment specification data and technical drawings
