**Medical Billing Clerk**

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Billing Clerk responsible for providing high quality customer service, insurance eligibility verifications, and payment requests.
- Assist in general office duties including (but are not limited to) verifying claim eligibility (based on payor EOB/EOPs), data entry, and correspondence between appropriate parties, filing documents, following up with payors, etc.
- Assist clients with questions and complaints
- Verifies accuracy of claim data, correction of any errors
- Data entry and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of services
- Track status of claims submitted, identifying issues, and working to address rejections as they arise

**Requirements**:

- Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- **Must** have experience in understanding EOP/EOB for a wide array of payors
- Must have strong customer service skills as client servicing is key
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc)
- Attention to detail: follow up and follow through skills are mandatory
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and interact with all levels of staff and management effectively
- Strong typing and data entry skills
