**FINANCE MANAGER/SALES MANAGER (HYBRID) JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Position Summary**
The Finance Manager/Sales Manager has a responsibility to the members of the sales team to assist in the selling and financing of new and used vehicles. This must be done while maintaining high professional standards and customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will use his/her experience and knowledge to direct, train, and encourage salespeople to reach higher levels of excellence in their personal sales performance. Complete knowledge of the finance process will also be critical as this is an important component of their job.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Adapt to changing conditions and show willingness to help others when needed
- Provide the sales consultant with the best options available to their current customer
- Become and remain knowledgeable about all company products as well as specific selling tools and convey knowledge to sales force
- Retain an ongoing knowledge of all inventory, including incoming and allocated vehicles
- Promote, encourage, and direct the sale of vehicles in a professional and ethical manner while maintaining high customer satisfaction indexes
- Train and coach sales people on a consistent and regular basis to changing sales processes
- Develop and present daily sales meetings and trainings
- Train and coach all new sales consultants to proficiency
- Maintain a working knowledge of current sales paperwork processing policies, procedures, and forms
- Develop and maintain prospects thru the service dept., body shop, telephone contacts, personal acquaintances, and business partnerships
- Use and maintain all lead generating software and programs available to the dealership
- Presenting a transparent menu to client with his/her financing options and products to enhance their vehicle ownership experience and protect his/her investment in a timely manner.
- Educating clients to the value of these options and products and assist him/her to make a wise and best decision.
- Processing finance transaction including lenders approval and timely funding.
- Ensuring 100% compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
- Achieving targeted Sales and Finance departments’ goals.
- Maintain a personal commission sheet that includes product penetration in a timely and consistent manner
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors. Consistently bad attitudes and behavior will not be tolerated.
**Supervision Received**
Minimal supervision is received from the GM
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outstanding telephone skills
- Firm knowledge of customer service functions
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work cooperatively with other company staff, and handle customers in a courteous and efficient manner, regardless of customer temperament
- 4 years or more of relevant automotive experience
- Possess a genuine energy and excitement about helping customers and direct reports (salespeople)
- Ability to follow detailed policies and procedures in processing a wide range of documents related to automotive sales
- Dress appropriately to convey a professional image
- Possess excellent sales and closing skills
**Physical Environment**
The Sales Manager will have to spend long hours sitting, using computers, and various office equipment. The Sales Manager will also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
**Dress Code/Uniforms**

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
