Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Forecast and manage inventory levels to meet the needs of our customers and departments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Work closely with our sales and service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of parts department staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
- Operational Efficiency
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize processes
- Work closely with our management team to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in parts management or a related field
- Technical automotive knowledge and experience with inventory management systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Computer literacy and experience with inventory management software
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
