We specialize in personalized care and cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques to help our patients achieve optimal health and wellness. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Physical Therapy Technician to join our dynamic team. **Must be able to work ALL 3 day Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 8:30am - 12pm, and 1:30pm - 6pm (approx. 24 hours per week). Hourly rate $16-$18 depending on experience.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with patients in spinal rehab/physiotherapy room while supervising and instructing various rehab exercises, performing active stretching exercises, placing patients on and off equipment and monitoring them while in use.
- Work with our Medical Provider to perform range of motion assessments as scheduled.
- Assist with patient care, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
- Work with patients in our spinal rehab/physiotherapy room.
- Supervising and instructing patients through various exercises, performing active stretching exercises, placing patients on and off equipment, and monitoring them while in use.
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for patient sessions.
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions using EHR system.
- Educate patients on prescribed exercises and home care techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines in the field of physical therapy.
- Some front desk duties including: scheduling appointments, answering phones, assisting with other front office functions as needed.
**Requirements**:
- **Must be able to work all day Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s.**:
- Background or certification in Physical Therapy Assisting, Personal Training, Exercise Physiology, or Kinesiology.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting (preferred).
**Schedule**: This is a part-time position, working 3 days a week: Monday’s, Wednesday’s & Thursday’s, approx. 24 hours per week.
